FAQs

Who can apply?

Anyone aged 14-18 that plays an instrument, lives locally or attends a local school and enjoys playing music with others. You don’t have to be a folk musician – just open to music from different styles and genres. You must be a competent musician. This course will not suit you if you are just starting out with an instrument. It is not about teaching you to play your instrument, it’s about developing the skills you already have in new directions.

How much will it cost?

The two days are free. You just need to bring yourself, a packed lunch and your instrument. Bungay Folk Festival is picking up the tab.

Where is it?

The Riverside Centre in Bungay.

How do I apply?

Send an email to bungayfolk@gmail.com. Tell us that you are interested in the Summer School and we will send you an application form. You will need parental permission to attend the course. We may be able to persuade Finn and Heather to join us for a short meeting nearer the Summer so you and your parents can meet them and answer any questions you may have about the event.
